As soon as you defeat Kujata the first time, Phoenix will use Rebirth Flame. Therefore, as soon as Kujata is dealt with the first time, heal your party members, because Rebirth Flame will not only revive Kujata, but also deal massive damage to your party.
Kujata will not be tethered to Phoenix anymore, therefore you can now deal damage to Phoenix. In this case, take care of Phoenix first so that he doesn’t revive Kujata anymore. Once Phoenix is dealt with, finish off Kujata.
Protorelic Phenomenon 4: Isle Out of Space-time
Definitely come prepared with the following accessories, Materia and weapons for this fight:
- Revival materia
- Phoenix Summon materia
- Cloud – Buster Sword/Umbral Blade (Reprieve effect)
- Aerith – Timeless Rod/Ceremonial Staff (Reprieve effect)
- Disempowerment materia
- Enervation materia
This all to survive Odin’s Zantetsuken which is almost inevitable. Take care of Odin first.
Aside from Odin’s Zantetsuken, this fight is a bit tricky because of Odin’s minimal weaknesses or rather lack of thereof. In order to avoid his Zantetsuken in the initial moments, start off by casting some debuff spells in order to weaken him and avoid almost all of his attacks. Blocking them is not recommended as this is still considered a hit, which will inevitably trigger Zantetsuken.
If you have successfully evaded his attacks, he will cast Sleipnir’s Furor which will buff him up, but also pressure him instantly. Stagger him as soon as possible.
