Raccoon Requests are a set of new bundles in Stardew Valley 1.6. They are given to the player by Mr. Raccoon, the new resident of the Pelican Town who shows up after the Giant Stump Quest. Completing these requests rewards the player with rare items such as the Raccoon Journal and The Jungle Tank. And there seems to be no limit on how many requests the player can fulfill as Mr. Raccoon keeps updating his bundles. This guide contains four tips that help you complete Raccoon Requests way faster—and make the most of them.

Stardew Valley: The Giant Stump Quest Guide
The Giant Stump Quest is a new questline in Stardew Valley 1.6 that gives you new Pelican Town friends; here’s how to complete this mission.
Tips for Completing Raccoon Requests Faster
If you want to complete the new bundles at the Raccoon’s spot, forage at the start of each season, unlock new artisan equipment as soon as possible, prepare to fulfill at least eight of his requests, save your trash to barter at the Raccoon Shop, and familiarize yourself with Raccoon request patterns.
Start Foraging Early
Mr. Raccoon asks for seasonal foragables. He’s into items like mushrooms, moss, and coral. If you start collecting these items early, you’ll have a greater chance of fulfilling his requests as quickly as possible.
Prioritize Unlocking New Artisan Equipment
Get a Dehydrator and Fish Smoker. Mr. Raccoon is also fond of jellies and pickles. So, it’s best to keep a Keg and Preserves Jar handy. You will need to smoke lots of fish, dry many fruits, and create a plethora of jellies and pickles for him.
Complete At Least Eight Bundles
This unlocks the Good Neighbors achievement. It’s a new 1.6-exclusive secret trophy that requires fulfilling eight Raccoon requests. If achievements aren’t your thing, completing at least five bundles will suffice. After fulfilling the initial five requests, you gain access to all the items in the Raccoon Shop, which is managed by Mr. Raccoon’s wife.
Capitalize on Your Trash
The Raccoon Shop is a barter spot. And the Raccoon family is into your trash. If you want to purchase more items—things like the Jungle Tank and new Seasonal Seeds—save a couple of Broken Glasses and unused Mixed Seeds because Mrs. Raccoon will reward you for them.
The most valuable items at this shop are the new seeds: Carrot Seeds (exchanged for one Maple Seed),
Summer Squash Seeds
(exchanged for fifteen Sap), Broccoli Seeds (exchanged for five Moss), Powdermelon Seeds (exchanged for two Pine Cones).
Understand the Pattern
Raccoon Requests use Legacy Randomization. While each request is randomized, the choices available are limited. By understanding what to expect in each bundle, you can approach them with preparation and foresight.
Use the following table to predict Raccoon’s bundles:

Periwinkle, Snail, Crayfish, Mussel, Oyster, Cockle or Clam and a Smoked Fish |
#2 |
Jelly, Pickles, Dried Fruit, or Juice |
